This used to be a good place but now the quality has gone down. The other say we found a hair stuck on the dosa.. Never again.
It's is nice to have quick snacks. Specially I like South Indian food like dosa. They also have good variety of puffs, both veg and non veg and even egg puffs. Also must try masala tea. Price is reasonable. Only complaint is cleanliness during pick time.
Today I have called from my office at 2.55 pm to CAKE WALK PLAINSBORO for order Panneer Tikka Rape and one more chat item. The guy from reception spoke with me and told that ANY ORDER WILL NOT TAKE more than 5 mins and asked me to come shop in person and other the items. Then I entered shop at 3.15 pm, the same guy who picked my call told that DOSA only available and no more items are available for now and additionally he told that come after 4.00 pm to get any other items. Since I have been a customer for Cake Walk Plainsboro for the past 3 years. I knew his voice very well, he was in this shop for the past 1 year approxmately, and I asked to him you picked my call and you asked me come to shop in person for order the dishes. He was telling Lie and told that that was some other person. I need to decide that what I wanted to order and eat. Really BAD…I wanted to take this review to OWNER in next level. I knew owner very well, OWNER’s hospitality was good when he was in. But these peoples are destroying the name…
The food and service earlier used to be good , but now it is the worst. The staff is careless and negligent. No proper communication. On the other day, I placed an order of samosa chat over phone to pick up. I went there after 10 mins and still waited for 30 mins. Another day, I got coconut chutney for dosa which was smelling different. I could easily make out that it was previous day's chutney. Who is responsible if we suffer from food poisoning? Another time, they forgot that I was waiting on the call for 10 mins , after asking me to hold, when I called to place take out order.
